When you set your profile to discreet, hospitals searching ClinHire can see that a professional with your specialisation, experience level, and city is available — but they cannot see your name, your photo, or your current workplace.
They see: "Radiologist · 8 years experience · Mumbai · Open to offers."
They do not see: your name, your face, or where you currently work.
If a hospital sends you a message, you receive it privately. You can read their offer — role, shift, compensation — and decide whether to respond. Only when you reply does the conversation become two-way, and you remain in control of what you share.
How to set it up
Setting discreet mode takes 30 seconds:
- Log in to ClinHire and go to your Dashboard.
- Under Visibility, select Discreet.
- Optionally, check "Hide my current workplace" in your profile editor to prevent that detail from being visible even after you respond to a message.
You can switch back to public mode at any time, or go fully invisible if you want to pause completely.
What hospitals see vs. what they don't
In discreet mode, hospitals can see your specialisation, years of experience, city, skills, availability status, and whether you're council-verified. They cannot see your full name, photo, current or past workplace names, or any personally identifying information.
This gives facilities enough information to know whether you're worth reaching out to, while keeping your identity protected until you decide to respond.
A note on verified profiles
Getting council-verified on ClinHire — even in discreet mode — significantly increases the quality of messages you receive. Hospitals are more likely to send serious, structured messages to verified professionals because they know the credential is real.
